Founding Engineer / Junior AI Developer role building AI agents and automations to remove repetitive work for service businesses. First technical hire working on-site in South Jordan / Salt Lake City to integrate client software, deploy automations, and support client adoption.

We are hiring a Founding Engineer / Junior AI Developer to design, build, and maintain AI agents and automations that remove repetitive work for service businesses. As the first technical hire, you’ll work directly with the founder, engage with clients in person, and help shape the company’s product and technical approach.

• Build, configure, and improve AI agents and automation workflows.
• Connect client software, CRMs, and business tools using APIs and integrations.
• Attend in-person client setup appointments and conduct client-facing troubleshooting and demos.
• Diagnose issues, test solutions, and ensure automations remain reliable after deployment.
• Document work, manage client data and credentials responsibly, and support client training sessions.
• Help shape the long-term product roadmap and contribute to company growth as an early hire.

• Hands-on experience experimenting with AI coding tools and AI agents; familiarity with tools such as Grok Bot, Claw, or Open Claw is a plus.
• A coding foundation sufficient to read, troubleshoot, and improve AI-generated code.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, and workflow automation.
• Strong problem-solving, testing, and troubleshooting skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication; comfortable speaking with clients in person, by phone, and via video.
• Initiative, creativity, and the ability to take projects from idea to production.
• Comfortable working in a startup environment and wearing multiple hats.
• Availability for full-time, on-site work in the South Jordan / Salt Lake City, Utah area.
