Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day with an hour lunch)

Role Overview:
The Flow team manages the movement of surplus empty containers to deficit locations, maximizing slot utilization on vessels while maintaining cost efficiency and ensuring adequate supply of containers for export demand.

• Communicate with local operations teams and vessel slot controllers daily on deficit/surplus port locations and requirements for coastal repositioning.
• Develop and implement cost‑effective flow strategies by studying demand and planning moves of surplus equipment.
• Coordinate with local Operations to determine inter‑regional equipment flow requirements.
• Create inter‑op zone empty plans in system to allow regions to execute the weekly reposition as planned.
• Assess empty allocations assigned by vessel slot controllers and declare available equipment in accordance with equipment demand requirements from the Equipment Manager Center in Hong Kong, aiming to entirely fill slots on each vessel.
• As instructed by the Equipment Flow Manager, communicate any equipment on‑hire requirements with the Equipment Manager Center and coordinate with local Operations.
• Monitor transportation and storage costs to drive efficient operations and prevent idling of container assets.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn OOCL Enterprise Systems.
• Show detail orientation and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Display a collaborative mindset for cross‑functional teamwork.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
• Industry‑related experience.
