FULL TIME Professional Wakefield, RI, US

Oversee the daily operations of an Early Head Start classroom and to provide the children with an educational program that is conducive to optimal development.

Be knowledgeable about developmentally appropriate practices, planning according to the individual needs of each child, completing education paperwork, conducting developmental on-line assessments, conducting observations of children daily, encouraging family engagement in the program, conducting education home visits, maintaining a safe and healthy environment, providing “Responsive Caregiving” to all children and promoting the school readiness of children and families in the program.

Associates Degree Early Childhood Education (preferred) or Infant/Toddler CDA. Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards certificate (preferred).

Applicants must be skilled in building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues. Experience is a must. Demonstrate an understanding of everyone’s experiences, every day. Ensuring the delivery of services that recognizes and respects that every moment matters.
