About the Role

Peter Duffy Limited, part of United Infrastructure, is a leading provider of civil engineering, utilities, and infrastructure services. We are looking for a detail‑oriented Planner to develop, maintain, and optimise project schedules, ensuring projects stay on time and within scope. The Planner will work on exciting projects across water, wastewater, and broader utility networks.

• Project Scheduling & Resource Allocation – Create and manage detailed schedules, define project milestones, and ensure resources are used effectively.
• Schedule Monitoring & Control – Track project progress, analyze performance data, and identify potential bottlenecks.
• Reporting & Communication – Provide clear, insightful reports (Gantt charts, S‑curves, histograms) and keep stakeholders informed.
• Risk Management – Identify scheduling risks, conduct “what‑if” scenario analyses, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Process Improvement – Implement best practices, drive continuous improvements, and provide training on planning tools.

• Experience in project planning & scheduling within utilities, construction, or infrastructure.
• Technical skills: proficiency in street works legislation, advanced MS Excel, and data analysis tools.
• Analytical & organisational abilities: strong problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Communication & collaboration: ability to translate complex data into clear insights for teams and stakeholders.
