CNC Miller

South Kirkby | £15.50–£17.50 per hour | Permanent | Rotating Shifts

A globally recognised live entertainment manufacturer in South Kirkby is looking to bring CNC Millers on board at both Setter/Operator and Programmer/Setter level.

The business designs and builds bespoke staging, set pieces and stage machinery for some of the world's biggest tours, concerts and live events — and the precision components you'll be machining are a key part of making that happen. It's skilled, varied work with a clear line of sight from the machine to the finished stage.

The Role

• Setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components

• Programming at the machine (Programmer/Setter level)

• Working to tight tolerances on bespoke entertainment structures and set pieces

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

• Performing in-process inspection to maintain quality throughout

• Collaborating with production and engineering teams to hit project deadlines

• Keeping a clean, safe and well-organised work area

What We're Looking For

CNC Setter/Operator

• Solid experience setting and operating CNC milling machines

• Comfortable working from engineering drawings

• Fanuc controls preferred — other control experience considered

CNC Programmer/Setter

• Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines

• Confident programming directly at the machine

• Fanuc controls preferred — other control experience considered

• Fusion 360 knowledge is a bonus

• Rotating shifts:
Week A 06:00–14:00 / Week B 14:00–22:00
