Press Brake & Guillotine Operator
Location:
South Kirkby
Salary: £16.23 – £17.38 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are recruiting for an experienced Press Brake & Guillotine Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment in South Kirkby. You will operate metalworking machinery to prepare components for fabrication and finishing, ensuring accuracy, quality and safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate press brakes, guillotines, CNC plasma cutters and band saws.
Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings to calculate cutting sizes.
Set up machinery and inspect finished components.
Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a tidy workspace.
Requirements:
Experience operating relevant metalworking machinery.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
Working Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–4:00pm & Friday: 7:00am–1:00pm
40 hours per week
