Van Driver

Location: South Elmsall

Taylor Stevenson are acting as an employment business on behalf of our client based in South Elmsall, Pontefract - WF9 and can also involve drop's from Doncaster - DN6.

Our client is the UK's largest clothing and furniture retailer with thousands of stores and multiple RDC's across the nation.

We are in need of multiple Van Delivery Drivers for their 'next day to store delivery' services to work on an ongoing/full time basis. Delivering multiple stores per shift - average 10 drops, of clothing/retail parcels. Some runs may be delivered to RDC's for a bulk delivery.

We are in need of day drivers on a 7 day a week operation - (we will work around your availability), starting between (Apply online only) working a 8-10 hour shift.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Full UK driving licence

* Van driving experience (minimum 2 year)

* Multi drop experience

DUTIES:

* Carrying out multiple deliveries (roughly 6-10 on average)

* Completing POD (proof of delivery) procedure per drop.

* Good communication with transport.

* Vehicle and quality checks.

* Offloading goods at each drop (manual handling)

Each candidate will go ahead with 1 driving assessment, 2 day induction which is fully paid & 2 day buddy shift Then will be assigned to shadow a full time worker to learn the job and duties before working solely.

Immediate assessment and induction dates available!

Ongoing/permanent positions available too for the right candidate.

Guaranteed paid minimum 5 hours per shift - overtime rate time and half after 45 hours in the week.

Rates:

Basic - £12.86

Overtime - £18.83

Bank Holiday - £22.07
