Transmission Line Engineer – ENTRUST Solutions Group

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer to join a fast‑growing and exciting team serving clients in the stunning high desert and mountain region of the Southwestern US. In this role, you will design, analyze, and oversee design work on transmission lines from 34 kV and up. You will work closely with clients, possibly in an embedded capacity, and be supported by a diverse team of engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of power.

• Design and analyze transmission line systems, including structures, conductors, and foundations.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other engineers to ensure successful project execution.
• Utilize advanced software tools for modeling and simulation of transmission line performance.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, standards, and best practices.

• 3 years of engineering experience related to transmission line projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
• EIT or ability to obtain.
• Experience with transmission line design and analysis software (e.g., PLS‑CADD, PLS‑POLE).

• 3+ years of experience in transmission line design.
• Strong understanding of electrical and structural engineering principles.
