Are you an experienced Civil Engineer and project leader looking for an opportunity to make an impact in your community? South Tahoe Public Utility District (STPUD) is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead complex, multidisciplinary public works projects and provide leadership to our engineering team.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:- Previous engineering leadership and supervisory experience
- Experience managing or leading public works projects
- Strong project management and project engineering experience
- Experience with planning, design, permitting, bidding, construction management, and budgeting
- Experience managing consultants and coordinating with staff, agencies, engineers, contractors, businesses, and the public
- Previous knowledge or experience with water and wastewater treatment plants is highly desirable
Under general direction, the Senior Engineer performs professional engineering duties as a Project Manager and Project Engineer for complex multidisciplinary public works projects. This position also provides leadership, management, and direct supervision for professional and technical engineering staff.
REQUIRED REGISTRATION:California Civil Engineer registration is required.
