Job Description
As a Snowmobile Rescue Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well‑being of guests and staff while patrolling snowmobile trails alongside guided tours. This unique position combines emergency medical response with snowmobile operation in challenging outdoor environments.
In this role, you will be trained not only in the safe operation of snowmobiles but also in advanced riding techniques to reach emergency scenes quickly and effectively in remote and rugged terrain. We are seeking individuals eager to learn and grow—both in technical riding abilities and in emergency medical response skills.
The EMT is responsible for responding to both emergency and non‑emergency medical situations, including triage, immediate care, and determining the need for external medical support. EMTs must be prepared to respond with limited resources while maintaining high standards of care.
Essential duties and responsibilities may vary depending on the specific location, client expectations, and operational needs, but a strong commitment to safety, adaptability, and teamwork is required at all times.
COMPENSATIONHourly rate: $22.00.

Job Responsibilities- Lead medical response scene and assess patient condition to determine appropriate treatment course.
- Provide basic life support training and team leadership, including airway management, CPR, and automatic defibrillator use when necessary.
- Report verbally and in writing medical care and observations of the patient at the emergency scene and in transit.
- Assist in transportation of the injured to additional response units.
- Oversee restocks, replace used supplies, and clean all equipment following appropriate disinfecting procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality according to state and federal laws.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.
- NREMT certification required.
- Previous EMT and leadership experience preferred.
- Previous snowmobiling experience preferred but not required.
- Must be able to use judgement and make decisions in a high‑stress, fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
