Position: PARKING ATTENDANT

Responsibilities

Provides excellent attendant parking service for guests ensuring a flawless delivery of four‑star service to arriving and departing guests while maintaining a fun‑filled, entertaining environment.

  • Parks vehicles of arriving guests and retrieves vehicles of departing guests safely and courteously following established procedures.
  • Initiates greeting of guests in a friendly and welcoming manner using all five of our Spotlight on Success behaviors; opens and closes doors of vehicles and doors leading into the casino/hotel.
  • Provides or obtains information requested by guests within guidelines established by supervisor.
  • Memorizes accurate, current weather forecasts, road conditions and restrictions to inform guests if requested.
  • Observes assigned areas for any safety hazards or unauthorized tampering with or pilferage to parked vehicles or Harrah’s facilities, reports incidents to supervisor or Security Shift Supervisor, and maintains a professional environment.
  • Attends to the parking booth to ensure the security of guests’ vehicle keys.
  • Expedites and controls the movement of guests’ vehicles upon arrival or departure.
  • Familiarizes self with hotel and casino policies, special events and promotions to answer guest inquiries; checks for satisfaction with guest at the end of each interaction.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous valet parking experience helpful
Qualifications
  • Literate and fluent in English
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Ability to operate vehicles with a variety of controls in a safe, efficient manner
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must be able to operate a manual transmission
  • Ability to demonstrate a pleasant and enthusiastic demeanor at all times
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
  • Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same
  • Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work outside and tolerate extreme temperature variations
  • Ability to run for most or all of shift
  • Ability to stand for most or all of shift
  • Visual and auditory range must include immediate environment
  • Must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel
  • Position that has contact with the public requires the ability to work in a noisy environment and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products; non‑public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time in connection with duties and may be subject to the same environment
