Summary of PositionThe ETL Report Developer is responsible for data analysis, validation, cleansing, collection and reporting related to healthcare. Extract and analyze data from various sources, including databases, manual files, and external/internal websites. Document reporting requirements and processes and validate data components as required. Develop ad‑hoc reports to conduct data and trend analysis, aggregation, and validation. Develops ETL packages to support the building of the ODS and Data Warehouse.
Work with business clients and healthcare leaders to analyze business data information requirements and translate solutions in alignment with industry best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in health, IT, or business field
- Experience developing, maintaining, and optimizing ETL packages using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services required
- ETL experience to create data marts, data warehouse preferred.
- Epic Clarity data model experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in ETL tools, ideally SSIS
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g. Java)
- Understanding of data modeling and database design principles
- Knowledge of data quality and validation techniques
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Epic Clarity Cogito certification or obtain within 1 year of hire required
