Reports to the Store Manager and performs duties that may include but are not limited to:

• Maintain assigned store sections, including receiving, stocking, and pricing merchandise, checking product dates and rotating inventory, and setting up promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior store areas and parking lot.
• Operate a cash register, handle customer payments, process refunds, and verify customer eligibility for alcoholic beverages.
• Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers, including loading purchases into vehicles.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties and record lost or damaged goods and store supplies.

Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and write English and interact with co‑workers and the general public.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, and short correspondence.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers and employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

It would be extra awesome if you bring Basic PC/Outlook skills, a Retail Management Certificate, or other relevant experience.

The Part‑Time Associate performs management‑assigned duties in a fast‑paced environment and helps deliver an outstanding customer experience.
