The Role We are seeking a professional and personable Legal Receptionist to join a busy legal firm in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service while supporting solicitors and legal teams with a range of administrative duties. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced professional environment.

Key Responsibilities Greeting clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner. Managing incoming calls and directing enquiries to the appropriate department. Handling client correspondence via telephone, email, and post. Scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings. Opening and closing client files and maintaining accurate records. Scanning, filing, and document management. Assisting with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence. Managing incoming and outgoing mail.

Maintaining reception and meeting room areas to a high standard. Processing payments and handling basic billing administration. Supporting solicitors, Legal Secretaries, and Paralegals with administrative tasks. Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection requirements. Skills & Experience Previous experience in a reception, administration, or customer service role.

Experience with in a legal or professional services environment is desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Professional telephone manner and client-focused approach. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. A positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude.
