Office Administrator/ Coordinator
South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Receptionists to join the team at Strathaven Leisure Centre.
Location:
Strathaven Leisure Centre, Bowling Green Road, Strathaven.
Hours:
Casual as and when required.
Hourly Rate: £13.80 per hour.
Job ProfileReceptionist – responsible for customer enquiries, cash handling, issuing receipts, preparing money for banking and operating the electronic booking system.
Responsibilities- Deal with all aspects of cash handling and reconciliation, issuing receipts, and preparing monies for banking in accordance with procedures and standards.
- Respond to customer enquiries providing assistance and information in line with South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture's customer care standards.
- Carry out clerical duties to assist in the smooth running of the reception and other areas of the facility.
- Promote all centre activities to customers.
- Receive and distribute mail and goods.
- Perform any other duties as required.
- Previous experience in a customer‑oriented environment desirable.
- Experience of operating a computerised till system desirable, although full training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and customer care skills required.
