Responsibilities- Handle customer enquiries, cash handling, issuing of receipts and preparing money for banking, and operating our electronic booking system.
- Handle and reconcile cash, issue receipts and prepare monies for banking according to procedures and standards.
- Assist customers with enquiries providing assistance and information in line with South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture's customer care standards.
- Carry out clerical duties to assist in the smooth running of the reception and other areas of the facility.
- Promote all centre activities to customers.
- Receive and distribute mail and goods.
- Perform any other duties as required.
- Previous experience in a customer‑oriented environment is desirable.
- Experience operating a computerised till system is desirable, although full training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and customer care skills.
An Overseas Criminal Records Check is required where applicants born outside the UK (Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland) or who have lived or worked outside the UK for a continuous period of three months in the past 10 years. Applicants must provide evidence of the check, translated into English, with an official statement confirming no history of or pending criminal record proceedings.
