Job summary

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist ready to support adults with mental health needs? The Community Wellbeing Service is seeking a skilled professional to join their team, working with adults experiencing short‑term low to moderately severe conditions such as anxiety and depression, as well as conditions including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

Main duties of the job

As a member of the Community Wellbeing Service, you will work primarily within Counselling and Therapies, providing assessment, treatment, follow‑up, and consultancy services for service users and clients, whether referred or self‑referred. You will independently plan and deliver timely, appropriate Occupational Therapy interventions, working with individuals or in groups, and making professional decisions about care while adhering to organisational and professional standards.

  • BSc or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Current Registration with Health Professions Council
  • Accredited Practice Placement Educator
