Position: IT Support Technician | up to €35,000 | 5x p/w Carnwath
Location: Lanark

IT Support Technician up to €35,000 5x p/w Carnwath

Pearson Carter are currently working with a leading construction and structural engineering organisation who are looking to hire an IT Support Technician to provide day-to-day technical support across the business. This is a hands-on role where you’ll act as the first point of contact for IT issues, supporting users across a range of hardware, software, and business-critical systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT support via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Log, prioritise, troubleshoot, and resolve support tickets across hardware, software, and user access issues.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and other business applications.
  • Set up and configure desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and user accounts.
  • Support networking issues including Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and IP connectivity.
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding process, including account creation and device setup.
  • Maintain accurate asset registers, documentation, and ticket records.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and escalate complex issues when required.
  • Assist with routine IT maintenance, patching, audits, and system checks.

Experience /

Qualifications:

Salary: They are offering a salary of up to €35,000 plus benefits

Location: The client is based in Carnwath, South Lanarkshire and they are looking for someone to be in office full-time, 5 days per week.
