Warehouse Manager / Deliveries & Front Desk
Location:
Glasgow - £30,000 to £35,000 per annum Monday to Friday only 8:30am - 5:00pm Drivers licence essential. Forklift Licence would be a nice to have but not essential. The Role We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Store Person to join the team. This is a varied role combining warehouse responsibilities, deliveries, and customer-facing duties at the front desk. As you will be using the company van from time to time, you need to have a full UK drivers Licence. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and being part of a supportive team, this could be the perfect opportunity.
Key Responsibilities Receiving, checking, and booking in deliveries Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately Managing and organising warehouse stock Handling goods in/out and maintaining a tidy work environment Serving customers at the trade counter/front desk Providing excellent customer service both in person and over the phone Assisting with local deliveries (if required) Supporting the wider team with day-to-day operations What We’re Looking For Previous warehouse or stores experience preferred Knowledge of industrial parts (Fixings, Fasteners, Nuts & Bolts, Screws etc), would be useful.
Strong work ethic with a hands-on, proactive attitude Good organisational skills and attention to detail Friendly and professional approach to customer service Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Basic IT skills Full UK driving licence (Essential) Forklift Licence (preferred) What's on Offer Competitive salary (based on experience) Stable, full-time position Friendly, team-oriented working environment Opportunity to develop within the business
