Baler Operator - Recycling Plant

We are currently recruiting for a Baler Operator to join a busy recycling plant based at our Cobalt Forth site in Lanark (ML11).

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team within a fast-paced recycling environment, offering stable ongoing work on a rotating 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.

As a Baler Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring baling machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring recyclable materials are processed to the required standards.

• Operating and monitoring baling machinery safely and efficiently.
• Processing recyclable materials in line with site procedures.
• Carrying out routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Ensuring finished bales meet the required quality standards.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Reporting machinery faults, defects and any health and safety concerns.
• Following all site health and safety procedures at all times.

• £15.00 per hour.
• Full-time, ongoing position.
• 4 on, 4 off rotating day and night shifts.
• 12-hour shifts fully paid.
