Position: PCV Drivers - Full Time/Part Time/Casual
Location: Stonehouse

Role Description

This is role can be Full-time, part-time or casual and the depot is located in Stonehouse for PCV Drivers. As a PCV Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and timely transportation of passengers, operating various routes in the Lanarkshire area. Daily tasks include conducting vehicle safety checks, providing excellent customer service, complying with traffic regulations, and managing passenger boarding and ticketing using the latest ticketing systems.

NEW RATES from 6th April 2026

Day shift rate (Monday to Saturday) £14.60 per hour

Back shift and all-day Sunday rate £15.35 per hour

Current rates:

Day shift rate (Monday to Saturday) £14.00 per hour

Back shift and all-day Sunday rate £14.75 per hour

  • Service work only (No schools or coach work)
  • Modern Fleet
  • Must have PCV (D Category) licence and DCPC card
  • Full Time (5 or 6 days/Wk positions available)
  • Part Time and casual also available (any number of days/Wk)
  • 8 week rota in operation for full or part time positions
  • Online and in person CPC courses available paid by the company (conditions apply)
  • Good timekeeper
  • Well presented individual
  • Good personal skills
  • Should be confident in working with the public and enjoy providing a service within local community
  • Transport Benevolent fund available
Qualifications
  • Valid PCV 'D' category licence and DCPC card essential.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills to ensure a positive passenger experience.
  • Familiarity with PCV vehicles, safety checks, and local traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ability to adapt to schedules efficiently and work responsibly in punctual and professional manner.
  • Experience in public transport is advantageous.
  • Flexible availability for full‑time, part‑time, or casual shifts
