HGV Class 2 Driver - Widnes People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver, to join our well-established client based in Widnes, Cheshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, Monday to Friday working, and long-term stability with a leading company in the industry. This would suit applicants who have worked as an LGV Class 2 Driver , Category C Driver , or Truck Driver .

Rates of Pay: £16.90 per hour Monday to Friday £19.79 per hour after 42 hours (overtime) Weekly pay Shift Pattern:
Your shift pattern as an HGV Class 2 Driver will be:

Your duties as an HGV Class 2 Driver are:
Driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently Completing between 5 and 12 deliveries to stores across the UK each day Ensuring all loads are maintained at the correct temperatures and remain safe and secure throughout transit Safely unloading cages using a tail lift and delivering products into stores Completing all required paperwork accurately and on time Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects Delivering excellent customer service at all times Following all company policies and health and safety procedures Essential

Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will need: A minimum of 24 months' experience driving Category C vehicles A valid UK Category C Driving Licence A valid CPC Card A valid Digital Tachograph Card No more than six penalty points for minor offences No DR10, DG10, IN10, or TT99 endorsement codes No major endorsement codes Strong customer service skills Good communication skills A professional and reliable approach to work Training:
