Service & Supply Operative Birtley | £28,000-£30,000 DOE | Permanent | Monday Friday | Full Clean UK Driving Licence Required. Are you organised, customer-focused and looking for a role that offers plenty of variety? Were recruiting for a Service and Supply Operative to join the team of a global leader in the industrial gases sector, based in Birtley . This is a hands-on role combining stock control, warehouse operations, customer service and local deliveries .

Youll be responsible for making sure customers across the North East have the products they need, while keeping stock levels accurate and the warehouse running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing and replenishing customer stock levels to ensure products are always available when required. Carrying out regular stock checks and inventory counts at customer locations. Identifying stock requirements and arranging replenishment and reorders. Processing delivery notes and ensuring out-of-stock items are reordered promptly. Making deliveries to customers and businesses across the local area. Managing stock within the Birtley warehouse and ensuring incoming deliveries are received and recorded correctly.

Keeping the warehouse safe, clean, tidy and well organised. Supporting the wider stock and supply operation when required. Building strong, professional relationships with customers and providing a consistently high level of service. What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone with experience in stock control, inventory, warehouse operations, logistics, deliveries or a similar environment who is organised, reliable and enjoys a role with responsibility. You'll need: A full, clean UK driving licence . Good organisational and time-management skills. The ability to plan your day and manage competing priorities. A proactive and flexible approach to work. Good communication skills and a natural customer-focused attitude.

The ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A willingness to learn new systems and ways of working.

Experience with Crib Master inventory management systems or automated tool vending machines would be an advantage , although this is not essential.
