Infant Teacher – The Learning Experience South Lyon

Pay: $16–$18 per hour (based on experience and credentials)

Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – South Lyon is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Our infant classroom is a warm, nurturing environment where babies feel safe, loved, and supported as they reach developmental milestones.

• Provide a safe, loving, and developmentally supportive environment for infants.
• Implement age-appropriate activities that encourage early learning and sensory exploration.
• Support emotional, physical, and developmental growth including tummy time, communication, and fine motor development.
• Communicate daily with families regarding feedings, naps, diaper changes, and development updates.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness, safety, and organization.
• Work collaboratively with co-teachers and center leadership to ensure high-quality care.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of experience working with infants in a licensed daycare, preschool, or childcare setting (one year preferred).
• CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE) is a plus.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for infants.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Must meet Michigan state childcare licensing requirements.
