Eaton’s Power Reliability Division is currently seeking a Lead Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Analyst to join our team at the South Milwaukee, WI facility. The role supports a site of approximately 400 employees, providing comprehensive EHS services and leadership to enforce safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement practices.
Salary Range
: $93,750 – $137,500 per year (base salary only). Actual compensation is based on experience, qualifications and market conditions.
- Promote a zero-incident safety culture through the Management of Environmental, Safety & Health (MESH) program to achieve world‑class status.
- Create and support EHS goals for site leadership, functional managers and front‑line supervisors.
- Assist the site in reaching EHS targets and strategic initiatives set by corporate.
- Develop, maintain and assess risk assessments to identify hazards and improvement opportunities.
- Lead multiple MESH elements and facilitate engagement from champions across the organization.
- Complete annual compliance evaluations for applicable regulations.
- Conduct injury, illness and near‑miss investigations using A3 or similar problem‑solving tools.
- Provide reports on key EHS performance indicators to leadership.
- Lead EHS engagement through teams and committees to meet yearly objectives.
- Integrate continuous improvement concepts and participate in MESH team co‑leadership.
- Deliver presentations across functions to ensure MESH compliance and secure resolutions.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of documented EHS experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
- Knowledge of Eaton’s EHS requirements and industry best practices.
- Strong team‑building and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with EPA, OSHA, DOT federal, state and local regulations.
- Demonstrated managerial courage handling diverse and conflicting interests.
- Experience leading cross‑functional EHS teams.
- Results‑oriented approach to logical, step‑by‑step project execution.
