The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will lead process and production engineering initiatives for machined and welded components in a low- to mid-volume job shop environment. This role will play a key part in developing new processes, designing fixtures, supporting automation integration, and driving Lean manufacturing improvements.

• Lead engineering support for machining, welding, assembly, and process optimization.
• Design and implement fixtures and tooling using Solid Works and related software.
• Provide manufacturing engineering support for quoting, process documentation, and quality control initiatives.
• Troubleshoot production issues and identify root causes using 8D and other problem‑solving methods.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in production, quality, and supply chain to drive improvements.
• Support integration of automation and robotics systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, and custom systems).
• Oversee process controls to ensure product quality, ISO compliance, and traceability.
• Lead or contribute to continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing projects.
• Train production staff on new processes and provide technical mentorship.

• • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Agricultural Engineering (or related discipline).
• • 10+ years of relevant manufacturing or process engineering experience.
• • Hands‑on experience with machining, welding, and fixture design (GMAW, CNC, grinding, or broaching preferred).
• • Strong understanding of GD&T, Poka‑Yoke, and risk‑based quality methods (ISO, PPAP, ISIR).
• • Experience supporting or implementing automation systems and robotics.
• • Skilled in Solid Works, MS Office, and related CAD tools (Draft Sight a plus).
• • Excellent communication and collaboration skills—able to interface with vendors, customers, and internal teams.
• • Adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced job shop environment.
• • $95,000–$110,000 base salary (based on experience)
