Accounting Assistant; Part-Time

Superhost Hospitality is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Assistant who supports the Accounting Department with accounts payable processing, including reviewing invoices, preparing checks, and handling check mailing. This position ensures invoices and payments are processed accurately and efficiently according to established accounting procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review invoices for accuracy and completeness before processing payments.
• Verify invoice details and supporting documentation as needed.
• Prepare checks for approved invoices according to established payment procedures.
• Organize and prepare checks for mailing, including placing checks in envelopes, applying postage, and mailing payments to vendors.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, checks, and related payment documentation.
• Assist with filing and other accounts payable administrative tasks as assigned.
• Follow established accounting procedures and maintain the confidentiality of financial and vendor information.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Prepare ACH payments in accounting system

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or a similar accounting support role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of invoice processing and check preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures and complete tasks accurately.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
