Registered Home Manager

We are looking for a confident Registered Home Manager with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You’ll be working full time, 40 hours a week, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at The Sycamores. The Sycamores is a 9‑bedded community rehabilitation (level 1) residential service for men that have been able to progress through the hospital pathway at rehabilitation and recovery hospitals.

We are looking for a Registered Home Manager for one of our residential services,
The Sycamores in South Normanton, Derbyshire.

The Sycamores is a 9‑bedded community rehabilitation (level 1) residential service for men that have been able to progress through the hospital pathway at rehabilitation and recovery hospitals.

Your Day-to-Day Provide strong & effective leadership. Be responsible for the overall running & strategic direction of the service. Ensure full compliance with Cygnet policies & procedures, CQC & other relevant regulators. Deliver a high‑quality service, in respect of both resident care & employee engagement. Ensure all clinical, budgetary, regulatory & service development targets are met. Implement risk assessment, risk management & embed clinical governance.

Lead on appropriate investigations as required. Review & develop potential opportunities for improved quality & commercial growth.

You will be registered with the CQC.

You are Experienced in managing & leading a team in a Social Care setting. A role model & team player who can lead by example, inspire & develop others. Capable of managing performance effectively & using your own initiative. Experienced in working to CQC guidelines, relevant legislation & professional regulations. Able to undertake investigations & to manage complaints confidently & appropriately.
