Warehouse Operative

South Normanton

• Ensure that all work activities are in line with Company Health & Safety policies and standards.
• Report accidents and near misses immediately to the Operations Supervisor / HS&E Manager.
• Operate only equipment for which full training has been received.
• Report any damage or defect of equipment, property or products to the Supervisor.
• Maintain personal appearance in keeping with company guidelines, wear the company uniform, keep it clean and presentable, and display a valid identity pass.
• Ensure operations comply with MHRA and GDP standards, including maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.
• Encourage continuous improvement in all areas of contract operations.
• Follow the instructions and guidelines of the relevant TM, SOP or Course pertaining to your role and company policies.
• Assemble orders accurately and avoid unnecessary damage; build pallets safely and securely shrink‑wrap them; position labels as specified in the relevant TM, SOP or Course.
• Carry out any reasonable requests as determined by management.

• Knowledge of Warehouse Operations and Systems
• PC literacy
• Team working
• Excellent communication skills

• Flexible approach to work and ability to work shifts.
• Punctual with a good work ethic and attendance record.
• Able to work quickly and accurately.
• Willingness to take responsibility for own actions.
• Confident, enthusiastic with good interpersonal skills.
• Uses initiative and judgement effectively to make correct decisions.
• Honest and open approach.

• Previous experience working in a warehouse.
• Sound knowledge of GDP and Health & Safety.
• Experience operating an RDT.
• Manual handling skills.
• Training in all relevant SOPs within 3 months.
