Despatch Operative

We’re supporting a well-established organisation based in the Castlewood area who are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to join their busy and well-organised distribution team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values accuracy, and wants to be part of a supportive and well-structured warehouse environment.

The Role

Working within a fast-paced dispatch warehouse, you’ll be responsible for a variety of warehouse and stock-related duties, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:

Previous experience in a despatch environment
Has a flexible approach to working hours and workload
Is proactive, quality-focused and reliable
Works well within a team and contributes positively to the wider operation
Can use computer systems and handheld scanners confidently (or is willing to learn)
Is comfortable working in a busy, warehouse environment
Within this position, you’ll also be:

Picking, packing and dispatching parts to customers and external teams
Using warehouse systems, scanners and bespoke software to process orders and shipments
Selecting appropriate carriers and preparing consignments for dispatch
Managing stock and supporting internal service operations
Processing returned items in line with company procedures
Goods receipt and storing stock accurately within the warehouse
Supporting with basic administrative tasks
Hours and Salary

37.5 hours per week
4/5 days per week on a rota - 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday
