Overview
The Psychology Department at Seton Hall University seeks an adjunct instructor to teach an in-person course in Psychopharmacology starting January 2026. This 3000-level course is required for the BS in Cognitive Neuroscience and may be an elective for Psychology majors.
Duties And Responsibilities- Teach one section of an in-person Psychopharmacology course. The course will be scheduled once per week for 2.5 hours in the evening, on a day Monday through Thursday, and capped at 25–30 students. The term runs from January 14, 2026, to the end of finals week.
- Participate in mentorship with full-time faculty to develop teaching through conversation and course observation.
- A master’s degree in psychology, neuroscience, or a closely related field with relevant graduate coursework in psychopharmacology.
- Ph.D. in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a closely related field strongly preferred
- Prior university teaching experience
None
Salary RangeMinimum pay is $1200 per credit for those without a terminal degree and $1300 per credit for those with a terminal degree.
