The Department of Professional Psychology and Family Therapy serves aspiring mental health professionals in counseling, school counseling, school psychology, and counseling psychology. Graduates pursue licensure/certification and become practicing counselors, psychologists, and marriage and family therapists, with certificates in Sports Psychology, Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation, and Applied Behavior Analysis. The department offers certificate, master’s, educational specialist, and doctoral programs, including a 5-year Doctorate of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology, which is APA accredited.

and Responsibilities
  • Interested applicants with a minimum of a master’s degree in the mental health field may apply for an adjunct instructor position by completing the online application and submitting required supplemental materials.

Salary

Minimum pay is $1,200 per credit for those without a terminal degree and $1,300 per credit for those with a terminal degree.
