Our School Van Drivers are vital to helping us deliver services to our students and extended school community. At TES, you will be a part of the solution, helping us achieve goals that allow all students to learn and thrive.

: $18.41 - $20.71/hr*

Note
:
Salary range is contingent upon relatable experience, credentialing/certification, education, and use of a second language in your role (50% of the time).

• Drive and pick up students, clients, and occasionally parents
• Maintain and update route sheets, including left & rights (directions)
• Monitor and maintain order among the students on the school van following school policies
• Complete daily van safety checks
• Check and add fuel, oil, and water as needed
• Ensure the van is maintained in a safe operating condition
• Submit reports on mechanical defects and other reports as assigned
• Attend driver safety meetings
• Use good judgment concerning laws, policies, and rules while operating the vehicle
• Actively maintain safe driving practices and emergency van evacuation procedures

• High School Diploma or GED
• Access to a mobile phone (for email) & basic internet (if working offsite)
• Valid Class C license with experience
• DL 51 medical card required
• Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR training (we sponsor)
• 2 points or less on a Department of Motor Vehicles H6 printout (must provide if hired)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Must clear a current background check through the FBI and DOJ
• A current TB Test (within the last 2 months)

• Varied work environments, including classrooms, clinics, and homes
• Moderate to loud noise levels and physical demands may vary
• Working with individuals exhibiting diverse behaviors and needs
