Construction Materials Field Tech/Inspector

Location: South Plainfield, NJ.
Hourly Rate: Starting at $25.00/hr with no experience, up to $30.00/hr for seasoned technicians.

Sign‑on Bonus: $1,000 for all new hires.

• Conduct field observations at jobsites in the regional area.
• Sample and test construction materials such as soil, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt and structural steel.
• Prepare accurate daily logs detailing inspections and test results.
• Communicate daily with the project manager or operations manager regarding project progress or contractor issues.

• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to lift or move 60–80 pounds and work in all outdoor climates.
• Strong attention to detail, safety compliance and quality focus.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient use of a company‑provided tablet and basic MS Office functions.
• Basic math proficiency and measurement‑tool use.
• With training, ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
• Valid pre‑employment criteria per company policies.

• Experienced technicians with verifiable certifications such as ACI, ICC, NICET, NJ DCA, etc.
