Certified Home Health Aide; CHHA

Overview

Job Brief:
Home care is a health service provided in the patient's home to promote, maintain, or restore health or lessen the effects of illness and disability. Services may include home health aide services and personal care services.

• Provide health care services in patients' residences
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Transport and accompany patients to doctors' offices or to the hospital
• Assist with clients' personal care activites such as Dressing, Bathing, Grooming, Medication reminders, outings, etc.
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
• Maintain a high degree of patient confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information.
• Maintain regular attendance, consistent attendance, and flexibility to meet the needs of the patient.

• Must be
  Certified by the NJ Board of Nursing to provide Care as HHA (Home Health Aide)
• Must be 18 and over
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be caring, compassionate, empathetic, and have a true desire to care for others.
• COVID-19 precautions.
• COVID vaccination is required.
• Must have a driving license & mode of transportation available, and willingness to commute
