Dietary Aides (Part-Time)

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed or instructed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures. Prepare and serve breakfast, snacks and noon meals to all participants according to dietary orders under the supervision and direction of the Registered Dietician (RD) and the Food Service Manager. Also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the serving kitchen and equipment.

• Maintain cleanliness of the serving kitchen and equipment.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Dietary experience in a health care environment preferred. Basic health and nutrition knowledge also preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, work cooperatively with co‑workers and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in long‑term care or nursing facility preferred.
