Title: Technical Support Specialist / Senior Project Specialist I
Department: Biopharma Services (Non‑Lab)
Location: South Plainfield, NJ
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex NGS projects, including single‑cell and spatial transcriptomics, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery.
- Work closely with R&D scientists, bioinformaticians, and lab teams to align project goals, timelines, and resources. li>Act as subject matter expert for troubleshooting projects and maintain in-depth scientific knowledge.
- Coordinate external collaborations with academic and industry partners as needed.
- Facilitate internal and external meetings, prepare agendas, track action items, and follow up on deliverables.
- Assist with training PM team members on all project design, assessment, deliveries to ensure successful delivery of services.
- Perform any ad‑hoc tasks and assignments as needed.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Life Sciences (Molecular Biology, Genomics, Immunology, or related field) with 1‑3+ years of relevant experience in NGS‑based research or services.
- Hands‑on experience with single‑cell or spatial transcriptomics platforms strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of molecular biology techniques and NGS workflows.
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific data to diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience in project coordination or management is a plus.
Salary Range: Starting at $75,000 annually (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
Bonus Eligibility: Performance‑based discretionary bonus
