Machine Operator - Day Shift

$19.94/hr - $25.64/hr

• Three (3) year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience operating industrial machinery is preferred, but will train if necessary.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, write and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Possess basic computer skills.
• Experience using hand-measurement tools is preferred.
• Experience operating CNC machines is preferred.
• Accurately read a tape line.
• High School diploma/GED required.

• Operation of a CNC machine.
• Follow safe operating and lifting procedures for overhead cranes.
• Operate forklifts according to safe operating procedures.
• Bring in and remove various sizes, thickness and shapes of steel parts.
• Maintain safe operations of all machines by adhering to company and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements.
• Monitor the machine to ensure that it is running at maximum performance.
• Detect and report all machine malfunctions.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
• Adjust machine as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to constantly work in various indoor and outdoor conditions including hot and cold temperatures, dust and noisy conditions.
• Must be able to lift a maximum weight up to 20 lbs. frequently; 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to carry a maximum weight up to 20 lbs. frequently; 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching forward, balancing, feeling, object handling, simple hand grasping, firm hand grasping, and operating controls will be required.
• Regular sitting, climbing stairs and ladders, reaching overhead, stooping, and crouching will be required.
• Must be able to properly wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.
