Blender, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Then you might be the next great addition to our Production team at Allen Flavors, Inc.! We're looking for a Blender to help us create the flavors behind the products enjoyed every day.

What You'll Be Doing:
• Batch Master:
Execute batch records and blending procedures with accuracy, ensuring every product meets quality specifications.
• Master of Measurement:
Weigh components precisely, perform calculations, and ensure formulas are blended correctly every time.
• Blend Specialist:
Create pre-blends for larger batches and produce finished blends while maintaining product consistency and purity.
• Documentation Pro:
Complete production paperwork, maintain batch records, and accurately document pre-weighs and inventory transactions.
• Scale & Equipment Champion:
Perform daily scale checks and calibrations while utilizing RF scanners and barcode printers to support production operations.
• Inventory Detective:
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to help keep production running smoothly.
• Quality & Food Safety Advocate:
Follow and support HACCP, NSF, SQF, Food Defense, Food Safety, and Food Quality programs while adhering to all company procedures.
• Process Problem-Solver:
Analyze production processes to ensure all required steps have been completed and determine the appropriate next actions.
• Cross-Shift Communicator:
Keep team members informed by documenting and communicating production status across multiple shifts.
• Continuous Improvement Contributor:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and support operational excellence.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred.

Skills:

• Excellent numerical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions and batch records.
• Knowledge of weights, measures, and measurement conversions.
• Knowledge of raw materials and finished blends preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and roll a 300 lb. drum.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
