Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete your daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is requested.
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy.
• Understand and show guests how to use the features and offerings within the Target App including Wallet.
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering, and know how to direct the guest to enroll, activate and use these features.
• Assist with returns by following register prompts and partnering with leadership as needed while adhering to Target policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area by gathering unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal.
• Stock supplies during store hours while being available for the guest.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance and work in a safe manner at all times; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-up orders, and related duties while complying with applicable laws, including adult beverage laws where required.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to use multiple devices and operate scanners and other technology as directed.

• Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within set time frames.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office operations as needed.
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally with or without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends and holidays); reliable attendance required.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift and work in varying temperatures and conditions as required by duties such as Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
