Overview

Given ongoing construction and development plans, our current apartment portfolio of 6,000 plus units is expected to double in the next couple of years and rise to over 12,000 units in the next five years.

In addition, over 5 million square feet of commercial retail space. Given our rapid portfolio growth, coupled with ownership's desire to develop and hold rather than sell, the timing is ideal for qualified candidates to come on board.

Position Details

We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Tech to work out of our South Plainfield, NJ office
, but will be required to work at our various Central‑South Jersey properties as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Repair Residential/Commercial HVAC Systems
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC equipment
  • Able to troubleshoot/repair wiring, electronic components
  • Replace parts & components including valves, compressors & condensers
  • Respond to emergency services calls
  • Perform inspections & preventative maintenance of equipment
  • Keep accurate records & complete necessary paperwork for warranty and logs
  • Experience in replacing entire units from 2 ton to 7.5 ton units, boilers, chillers & BMS systems is a plus
Qualifications
  • 10+ years in experience HVAC
  • Graduate of Lincoln Tech or equivalent 2‑year school
  • Min EPA Type 2 certification. (NATE cert is a +)
  • Can carry out low and line voltage wiring to equipment
  • Proficient in proper refrigerant pipe installation, brazing and pressure testing for leaks.
  • Capable of working independently and with a team.
  • Capable of troubleshooting HVAC issues. For example no heat no AC issues.
  • Strong leadership skills
