Join Our Team!We are currently recruiting for a Shipping/Logistics Clerk to work at our South Plainfield, NJ location. This role will primarily support our evening/overnight operations
, with a preferred regular schedule of 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM. Initial training will take place on 1st and 2nd shift. Schedule flexibility may be available depending on candidate availability and business needs.
Hourly Rate within $18.50 – $21.00. Pay is determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications relative to the job requirements. Base pay information is aligned with market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.

Responsibilities- Ensure accuracy of orders and shipping documents.
- Identify and fix shipping errors.
- Prepare Bills of lading, manifests and shipments.
- Receive orders and add to inventory.
- Work with shipping & operations teams to meet required daily activities.
- Collaborate and communicate with customer service representatives and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products about information related to the shipment.
- Compile carrier and route assignments.
- Track, trace, and update the status of shipments.
- Maintain accurate and consistent records.
- Provide additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
- Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges.
- Ability to work in a large, diverse team.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time‑constrained environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
- High school diploma or higher.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics operations.
- 3+ years of shipping, receiving, warehouse operations.
- 2+ years of customer experience preferred.
- Ability to use data in making logistics more efficient.
- Understanding of both warehouse and transportation requirements.
- Experience processing shipments using UPS and Fed Ex software.
- Basic proficiency with MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
