Job DetailsAs a Physical Therapist specializing in pelvic PT, you will evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient setting. A current state license and 1‑3 years of related experience are required.
Responsibilities- Conduct patient evaluations, including medical history reviews and assessment of strength, range of motion, balance, coordination, posture, muscle performance, respiration, and motor function.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans that outline strategy, purpose, and anticipated outcomes.
- Administer manual exercise, physical agents (ultrasound, electrical stimulation), massage, and traction therapies.
- Monitor treatment effects, adjust modalities accordingly, and collaborate with physicians and other practitioners.
- Educate patients on use of assistive/adaptive devices and at‑home exercises.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress notes, discharge summaries, and charge tickets.
- Discharge patients upon achieving goals, ensuring appropriate follow‑up or referrals.
- Keep treatment areas clean, organized, and equipment sanitized.
- Assist with new staff training, orientation, and updating patient education material.
- Manage inventory supplies and maintain organized treatment spaces.
- Treat all patients with respect and uphold patient confidentiality.
- Current State License as a Physical Therapist.
- Preferable 1–3 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, non‑verbal, electronic).
- Active listening and empathetic attitude toward patients and peers.
- Sound decision‑making and logical thinking.
- Flexibility to adopt new approaches aligned with organizational changes.
- Proactive problem‑solving and prioritization of tasks.
- Commitment to safety for self, others, and the department.
- Participation in continuing education and in‑service training for PT and medical staff.
