Hexcel is currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist for our Salt Lake City, UT location.

Join a dynamic, fast-paced R&D environment where you’ll be helping shape a safe, high-performing, and people-centered culture. As the Senior HR Generalist, you will have a hands‑on, highly visible role supporting employees and front‑line leaders across the Salt Lake City R&D Centre.

What You’ll Do:
  • Champion employee relations by coaching leaders, building trust, and supporting a safety‑first culture.
  • Lead hiring and onboarding, collaborating with managers to attract and welcome diverse talent.
  • Strengthen performance and development by guiding goal setting, training delivery, and engagement initiatives.
  • Support compensation, benefits, and HRIS processes, including job offers and people metrics reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and Utah HR laws while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Partner strategically across the site, supporting cross‑functional initiatives and anticipating people impacts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR generalist, or similar/related, experience. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in recruiting for skilled manufacturing roles and coaching front‑line leaders.
  • Working knowledge of HR laws/regulations and practical application in a plant environment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft 365; strong Excel/analytics and report‑writing skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal influence, discretion, and urgency in a high‑volume setting.
  • Professional certification (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR) desired.

Eligible candidates must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.
