Schedule & FLSA Full Time, Hourly.
Shift Mon‑Thu 6:00 am – 4:30 pm.
The Role
Torus is hiring Machine Operators to join our Production Team. Opportunities are available for both entry‑level and experienced operators. As a Machine Operator, you will operate a variety of manufacturing machines and ensure efficient, high‑quality production in accordance with safety, quality and operating guidelines. Ops require technical aptitude, flexibility and the ability to multitask across various machine setups (press brakes, panel benders, laser cutters, and other CNC driven machines).
Levels: Level I: 0–2 years of experience. Level II: 2–5+ years of experience.
Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and maintain manufacturing machines (press brakes, panel benders, laser cutters, and other CNC driven machines).
- Set up machines for production runs according to job specifications, ensuring alignment, calibration, and efficiency.
- Monitor machine performance, make necessary adjustments, and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products for quality, making adjustments as needed to meet production standards.
- Maintain accurate production logs, including downtime, output and any adjustments made during the shift.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and deadlines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment at all times to ensure a secure working environment.
- Engage in continuous improvement through education and/or training, as required.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0–5+ years of experience working with manufacturing machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of commonly used hand tools (drills, hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.).
- Basic understanding of machine maintenance procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision.
- Technical certifications or vocational training in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
- Experience operating CNC machines, press brakes, and/or laser cutting machines.
- Hands‑on building and fabricating experience.
