Instead of relying solely on traditional lab testing, our team is building virtual models of human cells—powered by AI—to predict how drugs will work on real patients. Compensation: $175,000 – $250,000 + equity + benefits

Stage: Series A ($30M+) | ~20 employees and growing

• Act as a hands‑on technical leader: setting frameworks, architecture, and best practices.
• Own cloud infrastructure (AWS core, GPU compute, Docker & Kubernetes).
• Build bridges across teams, aligning ML, bioinformatics, and software engineering efforts.
• Guide junior engineers and bioinformatics developers while shaping long‑term technical strategy.
• Help transition the company from fragmented pipelines to production‑grade, external‑facing products.
• Influence resourcing and scaling decisions—your input will shape the future of the engineering org.

• Strong background in cloud architecture, especially AWS (EC2, S3, Batch, pipelines).
• Hands‑on coding experience in Python and ability to set direction and frameworks.
• Proven experience in complex, data‑voluminous environments with a keen interest in biotech; bio/health AI/ML is a bonus.
• Familiar with heavy‑duty ML workflows and how compute and data pipelines support them.
• Thrives in a startup setting—fast‑paced, resource‑constrained, high‑impact.
• Excited by the mission of accelerating drug discovery through AI.
• Experience supporting computationally intensive data processing and ML model training.
