Overview

BEPC is seeking an experienced UX Content Strategist to join our client Experience Design team. In this role, you’ll shape the voice, tone, and content strategy for products, ensuring that every user interaction is clear, helpful, and engaging. You’ll collaborate with designers, researchers, marketers, and engineers throughout the product development lifecycle and translate complex concepts into simple, intuitive language to define our brand’s personality and build trust with users.

Location:

South San Francisco, CA (hybrid on-site three days a week — Tuesday and Wednesday included)

• Duration: W2 Contract – 12 months with possible extensions

• Travel: up to 15% as needed

• Benefits: medical, dental, vision, and life insurance

• Pay Rate: $45.00 - $91.00 /hour, determined based on experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement content strategies for new and existing products (20%).
• Write and edit clear, concise, and compelling copy for user interfaces, including buttons, labels, error messages, and onboarding flows (20%).
• Conduct content audits and competitor analyses to identify opportunities for improvement (20%).
• Collaborate with UX researchers to test content and gather user feedback (20%).
• Work with the design system team to define and maintain content guidelines, including voice and tone principles (15%).
• Educate stakeholders on the value of UX writing and content strategy (5%).

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating experience in UX writing, content strategy, or a related field.
• Ability to simplify complex topics and turn jargon into plain language.
• Understanding of the user-centered design process and ability to articulate rationale for content decisions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and proactive in identifying content needs.
• Passion for creating great user experiences with attention to both big picture and details.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with defining standards and contributing to a design system.
• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
