Job Summary
Location:
South San Francisco, CA Onsite 3 days/week Role Impact & Expectations:
Join Genentech's Early Clinical Development (ECD) team as an AI Dev Ops Engineer. This role directly shapes the next generation of clinical data platforms and AI-driven solutions, enabling innovative automation and impactful insights within clinical research. You will collaborate with diverse experts, develop robust cloud infrastructure, and deploy cutting-edge generative AI applications, accelerating scientific discovery and clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable software for AI/ML-powered clinical data solutions.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable and secure deployment of AI-enhanced applications.
- Integrate AI/LLM capabilities (e.g., chatbots, RAG systems) into clinical applications.
- Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, EKS, RDS, EC2) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation) and Git Ops workflows (Argo CD).
- Monitor systems using observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and ensure high reliability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to deliver seamless AI solutions.
- Apply security best practices, compliance frameworks, and incident management protocols.
- Stay current with AI, Dev Ops, and cloud trends; evaluate new technologies for continuous improvement.
- Write clean code, contribute to documentation, and participate in code reviews. Recruiter Insights:
