Incident Management (via Service Now) - including but not limited to
- Trubhoot computer systems (installation, uninstallation of software and drives on Windows OS)
- Trubhoot hardware connection issues (co-ordinate with instrument services team or vendors; typical vendors include Thermo, Agilent, Waters)
- Trubhoot Chromeleon software issues (co-ordinate with software vendor as necessary) and co-ordinate with infrastructure and operations teams (like DBA, CIDM etc.) as necessary
- Trubhoot configuration related issues (reporting, etc.)
- Instrument configuration
- Instrument Method configuration
Support with software installation during software upgrades and patch releases
Knowledge Management Out of Scope- Draft and maintain support run book or system admin document.
- Document unique issues (not covered within vendor support documentation) and corresponding fixes / workaround.
- Perform hardware re-calibration
- Fixing software bugs or product limitation
