The Senior Director of Portfolio Insights & Analytics serves as a key strategic partner and advisor to senior executive leadership, shaping commercial strategy, resource allocation, and portfolio investment prioritization. This role leads the enterprise portfolio analytics engine while acting as the champion and lead for cross-functional technical Centers of Excellence (COEs) across Forecasting, Analytics, Primary Market Research, and Competitive Intelligence.

We are seeking a high-caliber pharmaceutical insights leader who combines deep expertise in pharmaceutical data analytics, real-world evidence modeling, measurement, and long-range forecasting with powerful executive presence and the ability to influence without authority. The ideal candidate will elevate how data-driven evidence guides portfolio-level decisions, set enterprise standards for analytical rigor, and serve as a strategic voice on portfolio performance, market dynamics, and growth opportunities.

This position reports to the Executive Director, Portfolio Insights & Analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive portfolio analytics work streams to inform long-range strategy, portfolio reviews, launch excellence, commercial baseline and strategic investment prioritization across therapeutic areas.
• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior commercial and cross-functional executives, translating complex market, competitive, and internal performance data into actionable business options, trade-off assessments, and risk frameworks.
• Lead the integration of local, national, and global market drivers—including epidemiology, pricing/reimbursement, access dynamics, customer behavioral insights, competitive insights, and sub-national trends—into cohesive and actionable strategic insights.
• Leads portfolio demand forecasting in support of supply chain planning. Leads DDA coordination and execution of annual forecasting processes.

• Champion cross-functional IA Centers of Excellence (COEs) across Forecasting, Customer Insight, and Competitive Intelligence, fostering technical excellence, consistency, and best-in-class methodologies across Insights & Analytics.
• Direct the design, implementation, and continuous evolution of enterprise measurement capabilities, including Marketing Mix Modeling (MMx), ROI assessments, predictive analytics, and scenario planning.
• Establish enterprise-wide standards for analytical rigor, data synthesis, and high-impact executive storytelling.
• Collaborates with brand analytics team and Product Suite teams to inform the prioritization and development of portfolio insight products and tools.
• Ensures compliance with all analytical, insights, and research methodologies across DDA, including training and reporting.

• Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing, inclusive team of insights and analytics professionals, establishing strong talent pipelines and driving a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Models inclusive, collaborative leadership, creating space for diverse perspectives and empowering others to contribute their best work.
• Establish effective operating models, engagement frameworks, and prioritization processes to support stakeholders across the organization.

Who you are

• You have a Bachelor's degree in a scientific or quantitative discipline is preferred (e.g. Engineering, Life Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, etc).
• You have 12+ years of progressive leadership within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, focusing on forecasting, commercial analytics, investment prioritization, and strategic planning.
